SQL Server 2008 Training
(Course offerings and schedules follow below)
DataSchenk rolled to production on SQL Server 2008 immediately after it's release (Summer 2008),
and man, we can testify to it's awesomeness! It Rocks!
We love the little things, like intellisense in SQL, and the new datatypes...
dates without times, times without dates... sparse columns... improved variable declarations
(you can now declare and initialize a variable in a single command).
We love the big things, like TDE (Transparent Data Encryption), the Resource Governor,
and Policy-Based Management. And if you're serious about playing with BLOBs, you'll
want to invite the new FILESTREAM datatype over to your sandbox.
SQL Server 2008 R2 is on the streets, with its Express Edition offering an increased database size limit of 10 Gigabytes!
