Tour this Italianate-style villa, one of the most elaborate antebellum homes in the South, with 36 rooms and 19,000 sq. ft.

RCA Studio B
The studio where Elvis Presley recorded, as did many others.

A section of the famous 16th Avenue, this is the Country Music headquarters.

Great historical place to take a walk.

Fort Nashborough
This site is a scaled reproduction of the original fort constructed here in 1780. 170 First Avenue North. Free self guided tours

Belle Meade Plantation
Tour this Old South Plantation.

The Parthenon
Full-scale replica of the Greek Parthenon. The Parthenon also serves as the city of Nashville's art museum. The re-creation of the 42-foot statue Athena is the center of the Parthenon in Nashville just as it was in ancient Greece. The building and the Athena statue are both full-scale replicas of the Athenian originals.

The center of country music!  Also offers tours of Music Row. Computer training and Music Row. Perfect.

Cheekwood Botanical Gardens and Museum of Art
The Cheek family home was completed in 1932 and opened to the public in 1960. Beautiful gardens and the Cheek Mansion is now an art museum.
 
Travellers' Rest Plantation
Museum dedicated to Nashville's early history, housed in a mansion built in 1799. Great for learning about life in 19th century Nashville.

Adventure Science Center
Museum popular with kids. They also offer a Distance Learning Program.

Music Valley Wax Museum
The wax models of more than 50 country music stars.

An informational museum on Tennessee's history, from Davy Crockett and Daniel Boone to President James Polk and Sam Houston.
 
Frist Center for Visual Arts
Grand Ol' Opry Museum
Adjacent to the Grand Ole Opry, this museum pays tribute to some Country Music favorites.

Frist Center for Visual Arts
A nonprofit art-exhibition center located in what was the historic Nashville Post Office.

Carl Van Vechten Art Gallery
A collection of modern art in addition to paintings by Georgia O'Keefe and older European painters.

Willie Nelson and Friends Showcase Museum
This museum has exhibits on Willie Nelson, Patsy Cline, Elvis Presley and others.

Music Valley Car Museum, Nashville
Cars that have belonged to Elvis, Dolly, and other Nashville favorites.

Car Collector's Hall of Fame, Nashville
They have Elvis' Cadillac El Dorado.
