A+, CompTIA's most popular certification program identifies qualified,
knowledgeable PC technicians who are proficient with both the hardware and
software sides of PC installation, configuration, support, and troubleshooting.
Obtaining this certification requires successfully completing two exams; one on
core hardware, and the other on operating systems. Both exams are quite
comprehensive.
Hardware topics include not only installation, configuration, upgrading, and
diagnosing, but also printers, basic networking concepts, and system components
such as motherboards, memory, and processors.
A+ certification is now recognized by Microsoft and accepted as a partial
elective towards MCSA. (See MCSA Training)
There has been a very recent upgrade to the objectives of the exams so that
newer technologies are included. The curriculum used by DataSchenk meets these
new objectives and is the most comprehensive training material available. Our
instructors are skilled, certified, and dedicated to ensuring that your
training experience at DataSchenk is exceptional in every way.
